Now that I have grown up (I am already nearing to 7 months old!), I grow to be more curious to things around me, and I enjoy biting on things more. I guess it's cause of teething process, my gums tend to feel itchy and thus, I will try to grab anything that is available and put it into my mouth. Recently, with my hercules strength, I broke the plastic fan on my stroller. R.I.P. my fan, you will be remembered for blowing cool air to me for the past 6 months.

Well I was just training my finger. I wanna prove to the world that a finger can stop a fan from rotating as long you press hard enough on the middle of the fan! :P
Yes I am weaning now. Daddy and Mommy is letting me try out something closer to solid food already. Below is the recipe for today. Rice + milk~ Actually I was hoping for Abalone with Milk, or Lobster with milk. Maybe Birdnest egg tarts? They sound really nice and good for my beautiful skin :P But well rice is the staple food for us, so rice it shall be~

First taste of something different from milk.... Hmmmm~ it is pretty tasty and new. Can you see my glimmering eyes? I feel it was a piece of delicacy~

I did not spit it out because it is not nice, but rather I was being naughty and playing with the food. I tried to blow bubbles, Bloop Bloop Bloop~
Yes results have paid off, I am starting to see improvement in my crawling process. I can see that I am inching forward as time passes. I know I will soon be able to learn to crawl based on my personal instinct. I have moved to the stage where I subconsciously know in order to crawl, I need to have my ass up so that I can be on my knees and hands.
Jumping is what I've been doing besides crawling now. I just love to move(kick) my legs now. I do feel I have some talent for dances. Watch my ending pose, looks a little like Salsa pose :P
I was down with cough for almost a week now. Hereby have to extend my apologies to Daddy and Mommy, cause I think I caused them alot of sleepness nights. An extract from Daddy's blog:
We took him to see Dr. Anthony again on Thursday. He said he expected the cough to be worse but the medication seems to have control it well. But given Xavier has developed Bronchitisalready, he tapped his table with his fingers for a moment (as if in deep thoughts) before saying he is gonna change the method now. Xavier will be onNebuliser every 6 hours and had to go to Mt Alvernia for Chest Physiotherapy. This would be the most effective way to clear his phlegm.
Receiving all these instructions at 10pm at night was daunting for first-time parents. Add that to Xavier crying till he totally lost his voice (his worst crying I heard so far) when the nurse demonstrated how to use the Nebuliser, I couldn't help feeling lousy again (since Xavier likely to have got the cough from me). Lilian and I were at a lost for a moment as either of us had to take leave to bring him to Mt Alvernia on Friday to do the chest physio and Xavier would not be able to go to his Infant Care Centre up to Tuesday when we go back to Dr. Anthony for a review. After weighting our options, we manage to work out a plan and I thank my colleagues for their understanding (with the urgent leave matter).
The chest physio was very effective, though not the most pleasant for Xavier. The therapist taught us how to "percussion" (clapping Xavier's chest to "loosen" the phlegm in the lungs and the airway) especially after Nebuliser session. She then proceed to suck out the phlegm in the nose and throat area. This is by far the most effective way to remove the phlegm for babies. The coughing reflex from the baby to "bring" the phlegm up from the airway to the throat area so that it could be sucked out. This is where my heart aches again seeing Xavier coughed till his whole face turn purple. But seeing the phlegm being sucked out of the tube, I knew he would feel better after that.
When I grow up and read all these, I will know how much my Daddy and Mommy has done for me. Thanks for showering me with your endless care and concern, Daddy and Mommy. Thanks Ahma also for constantly coming to visit me and helping out when Daddy and Mommy are busy with work, and also Ahgong for trying to cheer me up during my sickness days~
Daddy and Mommy brought me back to the place where my 1st month birthday was held, to have lunch with Ahgong and Ahma and Xiaoshu. Though again, I can't eat the food, but at least I provided them entertainment with my smiles and my presence. I had just got vaccine injection the day before, so my mood wasn't that good as I am still very tired. But I did not throw any tantrums and quietly played in the stroller :D
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the ever so enthusiastic Ahma. I said "Hi" to her
Next, was seated in the stroller. Still looking around to familiarise this place. It's been 4 months since I last stepped in lolz
And Daddy tries to tempt me with the Peking Duck wrap. GRRRRRR I so wanna eat it but I'm still too young for it
No choice, I can only just treat my giraffe toy as the Peking Duck. Licking it does make me less tempted :P
The smell of the food is really to tempting, I have to start to bite on my fingers (actually it's because I gripped mommy's hands when she was peeling prawns, and managed to get a taste of what prawn tastes like!) Look at how Mommy and Daddy is trying to remove my hand from my mouth lolz
So Daddy, what do you want? I can't eat, I can't get to sleep, and now you are depriving me of my only enjoy of eating my hand :(
Have to take my temperature, to check if I have fever because I just went for the vaccine injection. My temperature was fine :)
Ahah~ Daddy has his hands full when carrying me, so now I can put my hand into my mouth again! The best thing is I can wipe my saliva all over Daddy's clothes
Hmmm.... today Xiaoshu is the camera man. No wonder he is looking at me through this silver thing. But why is it silver and not black like Daddy's??

And the discipline master, Ahgong, teaching me how to read the menu. Hmmmm the words are kind of confusing
It's quite tiring reading words that I have yet to understand, but lucky Ahgong was pretty patient with me
Getting more interested with the words, I grabbed the book and try to make some words out of it. But ended up still came out some Baby Language words lol
Ahgong says I am good since I tried, thus I was rewarded a prawn. Again, I tried to grab it but failed since I don't know how to peel the prawn

Old saying goes, you have to learn to crawl before you can walk. But nowadays, babies are smarter than before. Take me for example, I am still in the midst of learning how to crawl, but I can jump already. Video clip as proof! I am bouncing my way like how a Gymnast does it, only that I was not allowed somersaults because Daddy was holding firm on me. I shall continue training more, maybe I would be in time for Youth Olympic Sports 2010 in Singapore? :P
I'm now already 5 months old~ Just went to see the PD, and I was told that I am 9KG and 68cm tall~ That makes me 97 percentile in weight and 95 percentile in height (Out of 100, there are 3 heavier than me in terms of same age and 5 out of 100 that is taller than me). Well that means I am growing healthy and chubby :D As the old saying goes, babies should be white white chubby chubby. Anyway I believe I would shed my weight real fast once I start to crawl and walk. In fact I am quite yearning to crawl, that's why I keep exercising my feet.
Below are just some misc photos taken. I love the Osh Kosh jumper that Mommy bought for me. I feel like a designer baby now. Don't you feel that I look handsome in it? Because I feel handsome, happy, and comfy in it!
Somehow I have learnt how to pose also. I am always observing and looking at people, and learn how to pose also.
It's a lazy Sunday, so I'm supposed to laze at home. Thus this is when I was sleeping on the mat. Currently, I don't only lie on the back of my head and body, I also sleep sideways already! :D

Now that mummy has also started work, I would usually have to wait for night time to enjoy my precious moments with daddy and mummy.
This remote control car was bought by daddy and mummy when they were at Japan. It was supposed to be toy for me. But turned out they are using it to toy me~ (joking) Anyway I believe their intention was to make me more active so that I will be able to crawl soon~ I have to exercise my hands and legs more often, then when I have enough strength to push my body, I will be able to crawl, then walk, then run~ :D
Look at me play the ball. My legs move faster than Ronaldo's, my control is better than Lionel Messi, and my face is more handsome than Fernando Torres. That's all I got to say :P enjoy~
It's my first Father's Day with Daddy. Teacher from the childcare helped me make a card for Daddy, because I still can draw/cut yet. But i contributed by stamping my finger prints on it~ I tell you, Daddy was almost touched to tears loh. :P

I am now 4 months old. I have learnt more expressions now. Somehow, I can understand and recognise people already. I will bully those people whom are close to me, but will be quite shy when I am with people I don't know. Mommy, Daddy, Ahma, and Ahgong are the people I will usually bully.
This is Ahma playing with me. She is playing the "Near and Far" face game. Somehow I find it funny and will always smile when she does this.
Ahgong is trying to imitate Ahma, but he is doing it all wrong. Instead of going near and far, he is shaking left and right. I am kinda confused by this act.
I am starting to understand now, I should be smiling to him! It must be it. Lemme try.

Mommy brought me to MacDonalds. I must say, MacDonalds somehow has this magical touch with children. I somehow automatically gripped on the apple pie and try to bite it. But I realised firstly, I have not grown teeth yet. Secondly, the apple pie is still in the box!!! Argh!

First day to the child care centre. My face is uberly confused, cause it is the first time Mummy wakes me up so early.

And tada, I am in the child care already. I am still trying to accustom to the place, but don't worry Daddy and Mummy. You all put your heart to work and earn more $$ for me to spend. I will be a good boy and not throw my tantrums here. I am sure the child care teachers will take good care of me de. Cause I got a cheerful face! :P
